Getting Started

How do I create an account?
Click "Start Free Trial" on the homepage, enter your email and password, and verify your email. You'll have immediate access to try PodSummarize with your first episode free.
What audio formats are supported?
We support MP3, WAV, M4A, AAC, OGG, and FLAC files. Maximum file size is 500MB per episode. For best results, use high-quality audio with clear speech.
How long does transcription take?
Most episodes are processed in 3-5 minutes, depending on length. A 60-minute podcast typically takes 4 minutes to transcribe and generate complete show notes.

Using PodSummarize

How do I upload a podcast episode?
After logging in, go to your dashboard and click "Upload Episode". You can drag and drop your audio file or click to browse. Add episode details like title and description, then click "Process".
Can I edit the generated content?
Yes! All generated content (transcripts, show notes, descriptions) can be edited directly in your dashboard. Use our built-in editor to refine the AI-generated content before downloading or publishing.
What content does PodSummarize generate?
We generate: full transcripts with timestamps, SEO-optimized show notes, YouTube descriptions, social media posts (Twitter/LinkedIn), blog post drafts, and key quotes from your episode.
Can I download my content?
Yes, you can download all generated content as text files, PDFs, or copy directly to your clipboard. Transcripts can be exported with or without timestamps.

What's included in the free trial?
Your first episode is completely free with no credit card required. This lets you test all features including transcription, show notes, and content generation.
What are the paid plan options?
We offer Creator (£14.99/month for 10 episodes) and Studio (£39.99/month for 50 episodes) plans. Annual plans save 20%. All plans include unlimited edits and downloads.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes, you can cancel your subscription at any time from your dashboard settings. You'll retain access until the end of your billing period, and can re-subscribe whenever you want.
Do unused episodes roll over?
No, episodes reset each month. However, all previously processed episodes remain accessible in your library forever, even after cancellation.

Technical Questions

How accurate is the transcription?
Our AI achieves 95-98% accuracy on clear audio with minimal background noise. Accuracy improves with high-quality recordings and standard accents. You can always edit any mistakes.
What languages are supported?
Currently we support English (US, UK, AU), Spanish, French, German, Italian, and Portuguese. More languages coming soon based on user demand.
Is my content private and secure?
Yes! Your audio files are encrypted during upload and storage. We never share or use your content for training. You can delete episodes permanently anytime from your dashboard.
Can I integrate with other tools?
We're building integrations with WordPress, YouTube, and podcast hosting platforms. Contact us if you need a specific integration for your workflow.

Troubleshooting

My upload is stuck or failed
Check your file size (max 500MB) and format. Try refreshing the page and re-uploading. If the issue persists, check your internet connection or contact support.
Transcription quality is poor
Poor transcription usually results from low-quality audio, background noise, or heavy accents. Try uploading a cleaned version of your audio or use our "Re-process" feature.
I can't log in to my account
Try resetting your password using the "Forgot Password" link. If you signed up with Google/social login, make sure to use the same method. Check your spam folder for verification emails.
